Hello friends todays vlog related to How to Sell yourself to your Boss/ Manager in today’s competitive world  , As we have to compete with all other colleagues to get the attention of your manager which is now becomes more important . So I am sharing some of my learnings as below  as bullet points for ready reference

Always think  your are the best as

  • What can you do to raise the bar on what you have to offer?
  • Meet or exceed expectations.
  • Deliver a quality experience.
  • Be motivated.
  • Do your work well.
  • Be passionate about your work.

  • Relationships Matters as
    • Other people are whom you have to sell yourself to.
    • Developing relationships with people so that they want to do work with you. They want to hire you. They want to refer to you. They want to help you.
    • How satisfied are you with your relationships with:
      • Your employer or boss
      • Your employees
      • Team members
      • CO workers
  • Always Take initiative : Always Raise your hand when to be counted
    • What more can you do without being asked?
    • Be visible.
    • Be proactive.
    • Let the world  know of your successes and accomplishments.
  • Be confident  
    • Have a positive attitude.
    • Trust yourself.
    • Know your strengths and accomplishments.
    • Be willing to take risks – learn from your actions.
    • Be realistic.
    • See possibilities or opportunities rather than failure.
  • Always Be patient and determined
    • Give yourself time to reach your goals.
    • Be willing to fail so you can learn from your mistakes.
    • Be realistic.
    • Don’t be in your  comfort zone.
    • Don’t let anything stop you.
  • Share your Learning

Always share your learning and Experience with the team , Colleagues, Don’t Shy to share and always be the person to go for the manager .

Always be yourself and confident that you can perform any job when asked to do so , Boss will like those persons who are having right attitude towards work , Who always there to support the manager and the team , whenever required . In Todays completive world its very much important that we should sell, and promote ourself as  nobody will do it on our behalf .
