Its Ok to say I don’t know some times

As  a Manager its seems we supposed to know everything , we should know all the answer all the time , But it’s doesn’t happen sometimes we don’t know the  answer to a question , problem , issue Just because we are leaders we supposed to know everything Sometimes we don’t have the background or expertise , But we can say that without any fear , We can simply say I’m not sure, but I’ll find out and let you know, I’ll find out. I’ll look into it and get back to you with what I find.That’s a good question and I want to get you the right information. Let me get back to you by end-of-day.  As I believe that society, Company , Peers , Team  puts too much pressure on us the manager breed  Since the moment you are born people expect things from you, so when you don’t know something you feel bad. You feel like you should know that thing that you don’t know.

Most people feel uncomfortable or even ashamed to admit that they do not know something. It is a strange standard in our society to always have an answer, to know everything. But this is not the case , Sometimes I also don’t know many things about another process , work , But I always tries to learn that as I feel there is no end to learning If you don’t know and don’t ask you won’t ever learn. So I think it’s the best answer to a question. Sometimes, I don’t know enough about a topic to have an opinion and that’s okay.

So, when you ask my opinion on something and I say “I don’t really know”, that’s because I really don’t know enough to have an opinion. However, I can tell you some of the things I know about the said topic from different sources and it will still not be my opinion.

Not having an opinion on a particular topic doesn’t mean “you know nothing”. It just means you don’t know enough to conclude and hey, that’s okay and these days as technology is so fast faced and ever changing its really difficult to be updated with everything at same time .

You know its ok to tell people that I don’t know about something it gives you a chance to learn new facts and wisdom it gives you the chance to dodge like a fool and know it all its makes you humble and its makes you appreciate people by asking you questions that you don’t know

Being able to say I don’t know comfortable and with confidence might even be a lot better for your professional journey or prospects and don’t push yourself too much and try to be consistent  So my friends start learning new things and don’t shy in saying that I don’t know .
